Women in Chess, Through the Data

A pandas pipeline over 130 monthly FIDE rating snapshots (47M+ records) and a Monte Carlo simulation using order statistics, modelling how far participation alone explains the rating gap from the top 1 to the top 10,000. Extended with a peak age analysis and a Prophet forecast.

Prophet v1.4.0

Authored and merged a pull request into Meta's Prophet, adding a warning for under identified yearly seasonality so users are alerted when a fitted seasonality is not supported by the data.
